We call it both. it's both farming and ranching. but usually ranching is strictly just cattle or livestock, usually with no agricultural plants or some but mostly livestock. I also love these old knives

@buzzkilljrjr thanks for clearing that up. Here is Australia, cattle stations have live stock for eating, and on farms they grow food or produce milk. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂

@MultitoolsandBlades No problem brother! Here in the states sometimes it just depends on what part of this massive country you're in hahaha.

I wonder because the knife blade does not lock is the knife a legal carry knife in the UK? Would they consider a saw blade to also be a infraction of the law. I think the knife is quite hard to find in new and unused condition as yours is. Very nice looking model you do not see often. Thank you for the review.🙂

Hi Gizmo. It is possible, but I doubt an American knife manufacturer would remove a lock just for the UK - it's just not a big enough market. Most of their stockman knives are slipjoint so it's more to do with heritage as they were made like this a long time before the knife laws changed. When Schrade were closing their doors, they made a big announcement before hand and a lot of people bought up with the intent to hoard. Not that difficult to find on eBay buy sadly out of some people's budget. Thanks for watching 😃

@Valentin Virban that's some ears you have. I live at an aptly named Breakfast Point, near a cafe that is popular with mothers groups. It can get loud occasionally and noises bounce around the adjacent buildings. Not as loud as the dozens of helicopters that fly up and down the river constantly which also appear in my videos.

I'm not a fan of this knife, although I don't hate it completely. My objection is that the saw works badly, if at all, I also think it would have made more sense to have e the lock on the knife blade than the saw because the saw cuts on the pull stroke. The pick and tweezers are a good idea. When I got the knife, I had to bend the tweezers over a pencil to get a little spring on them.

@user-wg2sx2yp3w can you confirm you have the USA made version, as what you describe is consistent with the Chinese made version.
@KennethSpeed-g4l9 ай бұрын
@@MultitoolsandBlades This is a recent purchase and shows no country of origin, so I assume it's Chinese. In fairness, I should say that I purchased a regular Schrade bear head trapper, and the quality is better than I expected.

@user-wg2sx2yp3w that makes sense, the difference is chalk and cheese. I'd love to see a lock on the blade also

@@MultitoolsandBlades I don't know if the Queen Jumbo Trapper is available where you are, but if it is, check one out, just for fun. The Spey blade is big enough to neuter an elephant! LOL! It's not a bad knife, although you better have a good belt if you're going to carry it in your pocket. The jumbo trapper is more like a two-bladed Buck 110 than a pocket knife.

So a 1940t with a saw is what it is.
@MultitoolsandBlades8 ай бұрын
@CarsonShields The 1940t doesn't have the toothpick or tweezers either. More like a 960T with a saw
