I had this guy back in the day. He's simplistic, but in all the right ways. One of the best classic Beasties before any of the transmetal stuff was introduced.

Found a copy out the corner my eye at a local Walmart before leaving. I've wanted a replacement copy For some 20+ years. Reopening him and all of the beast wars figures from kingdom is so much nostalgia. I lucked out and have most of the non reissued character's figures still sealed as I focused on collecting less likely to be remade ones.

Seeing these reissues makes me glad I held on to all my Beast Wars. Cybershark was and still is a favorite and the fact this is a reissue of a non show character makes me optimistic for potential upcoming comic based releases. Specifically Ramulus, B'boom.

I have the original release, and right off the packaging it didnt fire the hammerhead far enough. I think it's related more to the weight of the head, the shark missels always fired pretty far.

I think that was just bad luck. I also had the original release and his head would shoot across the room.

Was one of my favorite toys as a kid, and still have him! But he suffered from some unfortunate browning suddenly within the last couple of years while in storage. Alongside of Prime Arcee and every white or grey plasticed transformer I had specifically from the Animated and Prime toylines except for Prime Megatron. Still haven't figured out what the crap happened, it all happened on the sides facing upward inside of a closed off, cardboard box that was nowhere near a window or heat source. Anyway... Looks like they increased the amount of cream on the underbelly. On the original it didn't go up past the fins. Been mulling over whether to buy the reissue and repaint the browned toy like a "realistic" hammerhead.

I got this guy for all the same reasons. One of the fins keeps popping out of the ball socket really easily but otherwise I like him. I never saw one when I was a kid and only knew about the TM2 version that I had. Didn't think I would ever own the original till this reissue popped up. Since the missiles are molded exactly the same as the hammer head you can also have him hold those and I personally like to have him with the hammer head in one hand and the blade tail in the other hand pointed straight up rather than how the instructions show to hold that weapon and then put the missiles in the under side of his hands like he's holding a couple of tridents. I don't even use the chest cannon, I think that gimmick is kind of silly looking but the weapons in my personal opinion work much better as melee weapons.

Wanted this guy for a very long time because of all of his weapons/features & I finally got the reissue a few weeks ago! Wal-Mart really is the new Toys R' Us when it comes to reissues & special edition figures. I don't know how it happened, but I am glad! I heard through the grapevine that Retrax & Terrosaur were next. Hasbro, keep up with the retail released Beast Wars reissues!!!!!!!

I got into Beast Wars in '96 when they first came out but took a break from them for some reason between this wave with Cybershark and the Transmetals/Fuzors waves. I got back into it when Transmetal 2 toys started showing up. That being said, I too only had the Mega Class Transmetal 2 Cybershark but always wanted this version. I feel this version is loads better then that other one, and I was very happy to find it at Walmart a few weeks ago.

I got mine at $10 when I was in High school. the packaging is way different.I still got one sealed from back then. I am still surprised they reissued this guy.

I managed to open up the gun head and replace the spring. But it was not easy, you have to lever off the front of the gun and then pry apart the sides and hold them open with a wedge while you swap out the spring with something better as everything is held together with a very solid pin. Worth it though as the reissue spring is pathetic.

Nice to see non-show characters getting in on the reissues. Bring on the Transmetals; I never liked having money anyway!

The robot mode looks cool, but the whole removing head and tail to get there is a bit of a let down. Still good for those who want it.

Fun fact in late 2010 I was swimming in the ocean .....and a hammerhead shark came and bumped up against my leg for a good few minutes

Looks great for vintage CHUG. That head gimmick is LAME on the reissue though!
