I have lived in New Bern for 57yrs and been through alot of Hurricanes but I have never seen anything like this. All I can say right now is to pray for the Carolinas🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

It breaks my heart to see New Bern under water like that, and then the videos of all the aftermath. I hope that you guys made out ok during & after the storm.

@@redpirategrl yes we made it out I left everything and my dog and i went to the mountains. I came back 5days after the storm and my home was fine but so many people lost everything it's so sad

Thank goodness you made it out ok. Yeah my daughter & her father live on Oaks Rd. They had to rush to get away. They're with my parents down in Pamlico. They lost their house. So many folks I know lost everything. I had just moved to VA about 2 weeks prior (from Lejeune. I'm from Pamlico but lived in NB for 13 years)

@@redpirategrl am so glad you're family is okay. I grew up on glenburnie dr. over by the tv station and most of the houses on that road were under water. I just feel so bless that I didn't lose anything.
