Russian submarine commander Stanislav Rzhitsky was shot to death while jogging in the southern Russian city of Krasnodar. He may have been targeted by an assailant tracking him on the popular running app Strava, according to Russian media. CNN cannot independently confirm the authenticity of the Strava profile, but it includes many photographs of him. Russia’s Investigative Committee said on Telegram a man has been detained in connection with Rzhitsky’s killing. #CNN #News

Why is a commander running while his troops are at war?
@Nihilianth
@Nihilianth 10 ай бұрын
I'm not sure what you're referencing IRT a US soldier killed at a gas station in the US. But it entirely depends on the situation. If you're an invading nation that has started a war in another country, then ALL of your soldiers and officers are ALWAYS fair game for the enem at any time, anywhere. If it were an Iraqi and Afghani soldier that found his way here to the US and cut down an American soldier at a gas station, then no. It wasn't murder. It was an act of war. A war that the US started. If one country can bring a war to another country, then that other country has every single right in the world to attempt to bring war to the first country. That's why all of these misadventures in other nations is most definitely NOT for "national security." Once you attack a country, you just opened us up for any sort of counterattack anywhere and at anytime.
