I often stumble upon medleys and live performances of this game's opera music, but most of them do not include this song. Like, why? This is a great song, and it's called "Grand Finale" for a reason.

It'd be hilarious if the song is diegetic and is actually being played by the orchestra for the play. If Squeenix hearts this comment then its officially canon.

I'm pretty sure it is diegetic. It's been a while since I played FF6, but I recall the opera director telling the orchestra to play the finale music during this scene
