Xenogears is the single most important game I've ever played. In tough times, I listen to the game tracks and let all the anxiety and sadness out. I play the game a bit and I'm with old friends again. The music is home for me. A safe space. I don't care if anybody else finds that weird.

I was just listening to an interview on the radio while driving home (wish I could remember who it was) but she said, "Being true to ourselves often goes against our culture." Anyway, I feel the same. Xenogears helped me survive middle school and, given I was considering switching to homeschooling at the time, that's saying a lot.

Beautiful track. I remember it a lot when Elly brings Fei to visit her home in Solaris. It was such a tender and sweet moment after all the twists happening before that. We really need a Remaster. I want it.

Xenogears is my most memorable game ever until now. The story is way better than all RPGs I've played, even the modern ones. The music is top notch and brings so much nostalgia that I can't help but cry whenever I hear Small Two of pieces, Intangible Treasure and Lost Promise.

The track plays as the music in the following cutscenes: - The lights come on in the Nisan Mausoleum, revealing Andvari. - Citan talks with Yui before leaving for Solaris. - Lacan speaks with Krelian about getting more paint and Krelian's newfound interest in nanomachines (flashback). - Elly brings Fei into her home in Solaris. (The music continues as the area theme until Elly's father returns, except for when Elly tells Fei about her biological mother.) - Elly's mother tells Elly that she should live her life as she chooses (flashback). (The music continues as the area and cutscene theme until the flashback ends.) - Elly successfully attempts to reawaken Fei (who was at the time controlled by Id) on the deck of the Yggdrasil III. - Fei and Elly both independently narrate how they had dreams of past lives, especially of Lacan painting Sophia's portrait. - Fei and Elly reunite on top of Taura's house. - Emeralda says that she wants to go with Elly to the Mass Driver Facility. - Krelian tells Lacan that he's studying from Kim's research journal (flashback). - Ramsus overcomes his feelings of low-self-esteem, and Fei states that he wishes to have a friendly fight with him after the end. - Emeralda turns into her older form in the ruins of Zeboim. (The music continues as the area theme until the Gear-accessible region is reentered.) - Fei and Elly reunite after Urobolos is defeated.

The original Team that worked on it is owned by Nintendo now (Monolith Soft). I guess they could work together but maybe Square is just not that interested in the Game, sadly

The original team has long since broken up or moved to Nintendo. The remaining members are very different now as well. Xenogears lives on through Monolith but it is different regardless.
