The original soundtrack is on the Tartan U.K. dvd and the U.K. special edition blu ray by second sight ( unfortunately scream factory could not on the 4k and blu ray)

When Beverly explained that Wolsh only has rights to theatre blood and make up it was delivered in the same manner as “they came out of the ground! And they scream! You have to do something’” 😂 Equally frustrating situation for sure. Knowing all this I’m definitely not looking forward to the remake now.

To be honest, it baffled me how Wolsh could have garnered any copyright on the franchise. We all know the copyright was all over the place in regards to images, music, distribution, etc. After I saw all the crass and bad merchandise created or licensed through LDM, it didn't seem right. We got absolutely nothing merch wise for decades and then it was cushions, hot sauce, tiki mugs and a wealth of crap. I hope whoever clarifies the copyright does what is right. And I'm sure William Stout isn't going to take his designs being fraudulently licensed as a mere afterthought.

You seem to be the same age as me. I remember being terrified of ROTLD 2 as well. (Now it’s like a bad SNL sketch in some scenes to me) What really had me scared to the core of my soul as a kid was the original “The Witches” movie with Anjelica Huston. The opening scene “Story of Erica” is still horrifying if you watch it back. They completely trashed the Witches in 2020 with god awful performances by Anne Hathaway, crappy CGI, Chris Rock for some god knows reason etc. Hoping ROTLD 2025 doesn’t go that route

You’re the guy who read me Return of the Living Dead novel every night before bed 😂 😂 (the movie version not whatever John Russo originally wrote that disappoints children) Here’s an idea for a ROTLD movie….”Return of the (Bill Munns) Living Dead” Where it’s ROTLD but with only visual effects by Bill Munns such as the original headless zombie he made that literally looked like an executive office chair with legs.

Tarman kind of reminds me of Carnage from Spiderman. Mostly red, covered in sludge, and is presented as mostly a vicious reanimated ghoul powered by instinct. That last bit doesn’t apply to Carnage, I know, but if I was writing the backstory of Tarman as a living person, I don’t believe I’d take the sympathetic approach. Something about the way he’s presented makes him feel like he was always a bad apple and the zombification pushed him over the edge completely.

I had to be that guy but has everyone forgot how Beverly is still friends with Brian peck and supports him there’s stuff she posted on her Facebook, literally two months after he was brought up and quiet on set and I hate being the devil‘s advocate, but most of living dad‘s media products literally has no mention or showing of Tina on it. The only thing that I could see them actually being upset about is the fact that they use trashes likeness that I can understand but the fact that you’re mad cause he’s saying he use your likeness when there’s no products on living dead media of Tina on it is just ridiculous plus the og cast has no legal ownership of the rights plus how did they get paid when it’s literally a kickstarter campaign to make the movie where’s this money coming from

Well I have super low expectations for the XMAS themed version... it already looks better than 4 & 5 which I really don't associate with the ROTLD universe because of the name change of the chemical from 245 Trioxin to Tryoxyn 5
