This really shows off how great the construction system already is. I've just built my second base, it has a humble two story building with an overhang, and a dam/bridge near it. There's a prep for a water base, but I just finished the zipline cave for the first time, so that's next.

I really love this game. I just hope they add more stuff either building. I mean, after you beat the game in every way you want, the only thing left, is to build massive structures. So I hope they add decorations, stuff around the map you can bring back. That would be huge.

Yea really all we have is logs and sticks and rocks. Pretty tiny crafting library. Hope they add stuff like stoves and lanterns and stuff..

I really love the idea of stranding on a cannibal island and instead of finding a way off or doing the bare minimum to survive, you decide to make big amazing looking houses and make the island your new home

you know seeing you talking about how you can fall and die by lifting up a log so high off the ground to build on the side of the cliff makes me think. it would be cool if they added a piton to this game. a piton for those that don't know what it is. it is a peg or spike driven into a rock or crack to support a climber or a rope. would be a big help for something like that.
