Sky had everyone on lock, and controlled everything everyone was doing financially, socially etc. He didn't allow friends over, had ridiculously over the top punishments if they did The conditions of the Sky house were awful too, and Sky was basically being abusive towards everyone. He was able to do all this since a lot of people in the sky house had nowhere else to go
