I think it is scientifically proven that hallway scenes like this make a game, tv show, or movie famous. A great example is the hallway scene from rouge one. Tell when you saw that in the cinema you didn't have that Darth Vader fanboy inside of you explode at seeing him just anihalliate everything in his way.

Marius is kind of like batman in so many ways. He is like child Bruce Wayne for the first two levels of the game, and completely changes character when his family is murdered by thugs in front of him. And then he sets out to avenge his family's death, and make sure it never happens again to anybody else. Heck, your main objective is to avenge your family's death, which is batmans life mission, he never stops avenging them, because he is never going to forgive them for what they did.

Fun thing, this legit could happen. Pretorians were the guards of Rome since no other legion was allowed in Rome. Usualy pretorians had to deal with unrualy mobs, not well trained and expierienced soldiers.
