The National Emergency Services Museum, Sheffield, UK.

A quick tour of some of the exhibits at the National Emergency Services Museum located inside an old poilce and fire station in Sheffield, Yorkshire, UK.
I show my favorite bit early on, the quite perfectly focussed snapshots of criminals taken ealry in the 20th century. The faces speak of characters out of central casting for robbers, pick pockets and general low level thieves. But they are just so beautiful.
Very much aimed at kids the museum is still full of stuff for history buffs like me, from the tree/water pipe to the WWII metal air raid shelter. Great place to visit.
The museum is in the city centre and I chose to park at a roadside parking meter just up the road from the museum:
