Java Finch Aviary | Sunday Morning, May 8th, 2022 | More Chicks From Java Sparrows

There have been many more chicks that have hatched in recent days. It seems the java sparrows are very comfortable in this cage. This time we will leave them in this cage, but if later in July 2022 there are more chicks that hatch, maybe we will consider opening adoption for those who want them. Actually we have been trying to find a conservation forest near our area. But we still haven't found a suitable one. In the meantime, enjoy this Bird TV video.

大画面のTVで観ていると、下(床？)にあるシード(の殻？かな、シードそのものかな)が所々で何かが蠢いているのが見えて、恐ろしくなる。衛生状態ガー。。

何かの虫でした。 ここのケージでは、ケージの底に積もった籾殻のせいで、いくつかの昆虫が成長しています。 通常は数日ごとに駆除していますが、もちろん完全に駆除することはできません。 この檻は家の外の地面にあるからです。 私たちの経験では、鳥はこれらの昆虫に悩まされることはありません。
