VideoLane, Great reviews! I had been interested in picking up one of these. I see you're demoing the footage on the Samsung Galaxy S10, which is cool, because it has the same Wide Angle lens as my S10+. What concerned me about the Smooth Q2 is that it's first software iteration made it so the gimbal arm showed up in the shot if you used the ultra wide lens. Now you could slant the gimbal forward to move the arm out of the shot, but from videos I've watched, the gimbal makes slight shakes when positioned this way, because it wasn't meant to be held at that angle. I heard this was all fixed in firmware update 1.95, which allowed you to press the record button three times and it would reorient automatically, moving the gimbal arm down and out of the shot. Really cool! However, it only worked in three shooting modes, which didn't include the locked mode. I'm interested in getting this Gimbal to mainly to shoot ultra wide photos with my S10+, but if lock mode doesn't work with this new feature, it might not be the gimbal for me. That's where my question comes in :) You recently did a firmware update video of version 1.96. I went to the Zhiyun website and they now have version 1.97. I was wondering if you tested the wide angle solution using either of these firmwares, and if so, does the gimbal now allow this functionality on all shooting modes? Hi! How does it perfom in portrait mode? I know it has the option to shoot in this mode, but haven't seen no one show it for more than 5 seconds, and read some bad reviews about this mode. Thanks!

Hi Adrian, Does your Samsung phone have ois or gyro-EIS? I believe those built-in stabilization causes jitters in DJI Osmo Mobile 3. My realme 5pro with the Osmo experiences it all the time. I am thinking of changing to the Q2. Do you get jitters with your Q2?
