I like your approach. In having studied other languages, I don't kknow why endings are learned in a different order. Nom, Gen Dat, Acc, Inst, Loc, Voc. It s better to learn them in their frequency of usage. Thank you.

Nom, Acc, Gen, Dat is often better at showcasing syncretism (i.e. what case endings look identical), though not so much in the case of Lithuanian. I also have a personal preference for putting alignment cases (nom, acc) first.

Nominative singular -us (dangus) -> dative plural -ums (dangums) Nominative singular -ius (karalius) -> plural pattern like -is nouns, and dative plural in -iams (karaliams)
