My cats were fascinated by this! I found this yesterday and I watched one of my cats watching this video, while I was behind the propped up iPad to see her reaction. Her pupils kept dilating and then back into the small slits instantly whenever a bird fluttered off, like they do just before pouncing. It was actually sort of creepy watching her eyes doing that...hahaha... Her much more intelligent brother watched this video about 6 times yesterday. His pupils stayed the same, but he kept going and looking behind the iPad to see where the birds went...there were some smears on the iPad screen after I turned it off, and I didn't know how they got there until I realized it was saliva. He must have tried to "catch" one of them with his mouth.😹 What an awesome video, thank you for posting it! 💕

Played this for one of our cats on his last night on earth. He was unwell and restless. I remembered some time back seeing him react to a Nat Geo video. So I looked up "videos for cats to watch" and found this. He was enthralled!! He perked up! Eyes wide, head bobbing and he even scooted onto his belly for a moment. Thank you for giving him that one last time :'(

@@dyingsanity. Yep, mine did the same thing. She'd glance at the screen every few seconds, then go back to grooming. Her attention, though, is still held longer than my male's. He gets bored quick. My female is a little more easier amused.

I am watching this with my 13 year old Maine Coon cat named Loki on my 17 inch laptop. He has advanced Large Cell GI Lymphoma and has 2ish weeks left to live. This is his favorite video to watch before he fell ill. When the squirrel comes on and does sudden movements, I can feel him reacting the same. When the birds fly off screen, he tries to follow them and gets confused where they went.

I have an old indoor cat. We take him to the countryside every summer where he gets to roam around on a leash, and birdwatch for hours. Since we don’t go there in the winter, I’ve started playing these videos on a tablet in front of his bed, and I love seeing him fall asleep to the birds singing 💕

In September when my cat was recovering from exploratory surgery and I was giving daily medications via his e-tube, I would put him on the bed and while I administered the medications, I turned on this video for him to watch. It pretty much kept him occupied while I did the things I needed to do. Thankful for this video.❤

This video is a huge hit with my eight year old cat. Of all the cat videos I've played for her, this one holds her interest the best. I guess it's the particular species of birds in this video she likes. I crack up watching her pawing at the monitor and looking behind the monitor to see where the birds and squirrels run off to. Downloaded and play it on a repeating loop. My laptop is now officially designated for this purpose by my cat. Thank you!

This is the cat video that all my cats prefer! The angle and sounds are awesome. Right now, I'm watching it with my black cat Stevie, who had entropian eye surgery to help encourage him to open his eyes more as the sutures heal. He was a stray. He always squinted from the pain of the eyelashes and fur rubbing on his eyeballs. 😢 Luckily they estimate he is 1 year old, so he hasn't dealt with this longer. I'm so happy that I was able to find a clinic that was $125 per eye vs. $700 per eye at a veterinarian office. There are so many resources out there for pet parents. ❤

When I’m checking my phone, my kitty climbs on my lap, taps the phone to tell me she wants to watch your videos. She LOVES them and tries to touch the birds on the screen. Watches for a good 10 minutes until she needs to groom herself.

I played this to amuse my cat but I was at least as fascinated as she was. Some of the birds were really surprising, especially the tiny one with a green breast, and the large black bird with a striking snowy white breast, which reminded me of a penguin's markings. And I have to say, that was the chubbiest squirrel I've ever seen!!

@@dee2519 Hi! I have had many cats in the past 60 years, the only difference with my current two, 22 year-olds lady cats is that I stopped letting them venture outside about 7 years ago. No more stress from other cats or animals=much better health. The quiet lifestyle and the extra attention during Covid has really been good for them also! :D
