The grandmother one hit me in the feels. I have the BEST grandparents. I grew up around the corner from them, I’d walk there after school everyday, have sleepovers with my nanny, go to the mountains with my pop. Now in my 30’s, they’re in their 80’s (been married 67 years! God bless them!) and I still walk over there after work (I bought a house around the corner in my 20’s), I still have sleepovers with nanny, I still go on trips with my pop, and I still love them more than I’ll ever be able to express. I don’t know what I will ever do without them💕

My dog of 11 years died was recently put down. Sadly I wasn’t there. I was at work. His health had dropped extremely in a matter of 2 days. I was hoping that the last vet visit he had he would come back. Unfortunately, I came home... and I heard no barking, and I didn’t hear his collar, and I didn’t see him coming at me with his Elvis smile. While I was at work, my parents took him to the vet, but they came back without him. His death didn’t really hit me until I saw the video with the dog and his window. I broke down into tears when the camera cut, and the next shot didn’t have the dog.
