Thats cool how starbucks has incorporated the ability for staff to appear on monitors. And even better that they had a staff member who knew how to sign! I did this once for a little girl. I definitely made her mums day and she was so happy i think i made hers as well. I literally only know how to sign the alphabet and the phrase “how are you?” And “thank you.” And thats it but it was enough to have a short convo. I learned what i know because there were two girls at my school who were hearing impaired. One got to chatting with me one day and while i was talking with her the other walked past and they signed how are you with eachother and i asked what they were saying. So the girl taught me to sign that and every day i would ask her and she would ask back. It became our thing. I later did a 1 day keyword sign course and i really only remember the alphabet. But im glad i did because i will never forget the smile on that little girls face that day. Such a simple thing too. I was able to ask her what her name was and i was able to tell her my name. Her mother translated alot for the rest of the convo but even that small bit meant alot to her and her mum.

I felt like I’d been losing myself for a while and seeing people care as much as I do about others. Just remember, COVID-19 is real. Just because it’s not affecting you right now doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. You may not hear the screams, begging, or labored breathing, but you can still do your part in protecting others. Get vaccinated, wear a mask, etc. I’m not going to continue to try to put out “propaganda” towards protecting other and yourself just respect the people who do and all I’m saying is that it’s the right thing. The dog with only 2 legs made me cry. It reminded me of my puppy, he was born with only 2 legs (at the back). He had hard time moving or playing with his siblings. His breathing isn't stable. One day, the wheelchair thingy for him finally arrived. He finally had a chance to play with his siblings or play with me but a week after he gets his wheelchair, he passed away. He was the first one to be born disabled and he was also special. I hope the dog lives longer....

What really got to me, was the dog with no front legs showing the other one how to walk. Its unbelievable so many animals have kindness in them and will help another animal by showing him/her how to walk. Sometimes animals have more compassion then humans. It made me so happy when people found a starving dog and took it in. This dog will forever remember the kindness shown to him by humans. Someone had to abandon that poor animal, left it out there to die a slow death. But yet the dog showed no aggression towards those humans. When someone abuses a animal, I'm surprised that these animals trust another human being.
