🎉Happy 40th anniversary!🎉 It's so messed up you can't play the music, I mean wtf, it played on tv no problem. Fucking YT copyright bullshit...at least I already have all of ot in a playlist.

Thanks!

I got a music copyright warning for a silent VID. Even when I fluctuated (as if playing underwater) the background music, so one gets the mood of the tune but can't tell what's playing, in skits I did on public access decades ago, youtube yanked it. THANK YOU Videowave creators for very creative and entertaining times.

@@wxretro That's so unfair! That shouldn't have happened.

@@wxretro Thanks. Ironically, perhaps a way to get around this now is to return to the public access airwaves, where the flawed algorithm can't reach...

What was the Revillos thing? Was there are a video - or were you playing an audio track? No Revillos video exists for Voodoo2. It was the b-side of Hungry For Love. Any videos the former band members and fans would love. I'm on their Facebook site. You otten get a copyright warning,, but the owners will generally allow the video to stay up if the digital distributors get the option to place auto adverts over the track.

Well nothing gets by you! The full story is that for the first few episodes, there was no ability to get music videos for each song. Instead, we played the audio and showed montages of different slides with relevant imagery (like a modern day PowerPoint). Interesting, the Voodoo song linked to in the video is different than the one actually played in the episode--was there more than one version? It starts off with what sounds like a Gremlin talking, but I did not see this one on YT.

@@VideowaveMusic Thanks it all makes sense now! There are few promo videos left of the Revillos as they had their master video tapes nicked and they got lost. So what''s left mainly comes from taped satellite broadcasts (in awful quality), and home taped kids shpws. Voodoo 2, was different to the take on the album. A b-side, to try and get fans to buy the single.. which didn't work. The A-Side was a 60s pop classic, Hungry for Love, revamped but sadly, it still flopped.

@@inverross9019 Thanks, didn't know it was Voodoo 2! I changed the video link. Sadly, if a band didn't make it to the Internet age with a large following, it often became lost to time....
