Hi Zan, thanks for the video. I switched from Propdr to DNE. I'm using 2 lights.
@vidicz4 жыл бұрын
How come you switched from propdr?
@bjorn66884 жыл бұрын
@@vidicz Last year when I was working in Munich I saw a lot off guys working with the DNE light. At the time I compared both lights with a buddy who had a DNE light, but didn't saw a difference. After a while (9-10 weeks) My eyes started to hurt and one of the guys who did the pre inspection before the car went it to the tunnel found 3 small dents that I couln't see anymore with my light. At that time I was really considering to buy a DNE light but I wanted to test it more. And by a luck I worked with Kenny from Belgium ( You know him, he worked at your shop) for 2 weeks on hail cars and asked if I could try his light out when he wasn't using his. And It was better for my eyes. And my final decision came when we were both working on the same roof and we had 3 lights set up (DNE and Propdr) and we both agreed that the DNE is better for us. What is your opinion about the Propdr, the DNE and the stuckey?
@vidicz4 жыл бұрын
Nice! Well it’s a great light :) check out my videos about lights to see what I think about all 3

great example of cross checking. would be awesome to see you make a video of how to remove or prevent that slight wave you sometimes get when you stand a few feet back or catch it in long natural reflection.
@vidicz4 жыл бұрын
Thanks :) Do you mean a wave on a rail?
@paulmc93144 жыл бұрын
@@vidicz mainly a wave in a big panel like a door etc. but a wave anywhere would be great to see.

Hi Zac,great videos!I have one issue when I have to repair big dents,if the dent have diverse high and low what should I do first to dont be confused by the light, for example should I tap down first the high close to me or. ...close to the light..?what is the order ?thank you (I'm sorry for my English😁)
@vidicz4 жыл бұрын
When I was a beginner I was told always tap down the high first then push. I followed that rule all the time and it worked. Later I found out you can also do it the other way around but at that time for me it was the easiest to first tap down then push

Hi Zan, thanks for the great videos. When fixing a small dent, are you sometimes pushing in the exact same spot multiple times or do you move the tip every single push? Also, do you always start in the middle of the dent? Thanks
@vidicz2 жыл бұрын
Hi Chuck. Great question. I always try to hit the center of the dent. I move the tip by a tiny amount each time so I slowly put up the whole dent.

Sharp dents are harder of course. I don't change many tips, you just need to be more precise and hit the correct spot
