The alapana is so beautifully constructed, esp the phrases around Ma. The speed of playing is quite fast, a testament to the vidwat of LGJ. He also seems to be in his peak during this time. 2:10-2:37 is just blissful to hear.

For north indian listeners, familiarity is enjoyable. However, so many gem raga's of south are strange or not familiar. I think north south combine can bring out them. Tillana's are good introduction. Secondly tilak kamod and malinkanta are similar. Always mention north equivalent. It will create broad audience.NALINKANTA.
