To complement their performances at Carnegie Hall, select members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra led master classes on March 1, 2019. Participating young artists-alumni of Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) and NYO2-had the opportunity to perform and work with these world-renowned musicians in a one-on-one setting in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing. Where is she from? I only know one other country which uses do re mi fa sol la si do for A B C D E F G and I know she ain’t from there. If she’s french I’m gonna be so surprised, the accent says so but I went to school in France and never heard anyone do the notes like that…

As far as I know, every country except the USA and Germany use solfege (do re mi...).

Of course, that should have been a ridiculously obvious conclusion to arrive at given you arent gonna have a single place outside of just a handful of places whose languages are built on the Latin alphabet. Thus, it would make much much more sense for the majority of places to use solfege while only a few places end up with letters to name the keys ABCDEFG. Thank you much, ma'am!
