Im walking from Wiedner Hauptstraße to Karlsplatz and hope you are enjoying this walk with me.
Wiedner Hauptstraße is in the 4th district of Vienna, the Wieden, and in the 5th district, Margareten. It was named in 1862 after the former Vienna suburb of Wieden and was previously known as Alte Wieden Hauptstraße, Matzleinsdorfer Hauptstraße and Matzleinsdorfer Straße. It is an important historical traffic route in old Vienna. Im walking from Wiedner Hauptstraße to Karlsplatz and hope, you are enjoying this walk with me.

I live in Wieden and enjoy it very much. It is good to see the street, Wiedenerhauptstrassee, but Wieden is also known as the "Embassy Distrcit". It would have been nice to see the side of Argentinierstrasse/Belvedere as well as near Naschmarkt too!
