new Czech studio InGame is planning to make an FPS and they are considering Vietnam. It's probably gonna be set in that time and conflict but as a new game not really Vietcong based or related.

2K has nothing to do with this, it was good old Illusion Softworks that did this gem (same as Mafia I, Chameleon), some of the guys ended in 2K for some time, but it went to shit (Mafia II was still quite ok tho)

2K actually had everything with Vietcong. Illusion Softworks was Re-Named to 2kCzech when they were developing Mafia II. For an unknown reason.
