As a Vietnam veteran: you have hit a home run . Details are very revealing and amazingly accurate.

FABULOUS diorama! Just two comments. The holes for the bolts that fasten the rubber track shrouds to the lower part of the ACAV's hull should be prominently displayed. They are large holes for large bolts. There is no BROWN or TAN dust in Vietnam. The dust is a red, rust like shade. It is insidious. It is EVERYWHERE! The inflatable mattress alongside the ACAV would look more red than blue if it had been exposed to the elements for the briefest period of time. Keep up the good work. Your figure painting is SO good.

would suggest buying a small bottle of clear uv resin for lcd printing. that way you can warm it up makes it very watery and then you could syringe it into areas that you need. then use uv torch on it to cure it. you can also brush it on in very thin layers. cleaning up spills can be done with a brush with little ipa on it. just make sure curtains are closed and no strong uv lights in the room. :) you can also add pigments and resin pigments to colour the resin. :) if the resin cures and is matt just use a brush over it with some more resin and cure and it will go clear and shiney. but rare that it will go matt. great video.

Well,it`s all been said, but that is SUPERB Sir,and it`s tempting me out of my WW2 comfort zone, and have a go at some Vietnam stuff!! It`s ALL excellently done, obviously, but it`s the finish you`ve achieved on the livestock that particularly strikes me,that really is a dark art.....any tips?!!!! Andy

Wonderful work, it's beautiful. Have you ever tried using clear nail polish for water? I've had some really good results with it for shallow puddles and streams.

The water resin probably took a long time to dry because it was such a small batch. Resin needs to generate heat to cure.
