It's fun to see outdoor fitness equipment in Vietnam. It was good to know the fisherman kept only big ones and returned the small ones to the river. I believed Basa fish (a type of catfish) has been raised widely in the Mekong River fish farms in Vietnam for exports.

Thanh Da got some beautiful restaurants along the river there. You can practically have some real nice meals right above the water !

Very true, but many are still closed from covid. I think next year the neighbourhood will be bustling again, but right now it was very quiet with not much choice.

Hey gals. I'm flying over from Perth, Australia on Saturday. What's the downpour like? Typical hour or so morning and afternoon schedules, or not much at all? Cheers for the vids, just binged on the Vietnam ones in a row. I'll buy yous a beer if you're around next week.
@girlsontheloose12 жыл бұрын
Hey Rex, thanks for bingeing haha. Have a great flight, yeah it's been rather rainy to be honest. A few weeks ago it just stormed in the early evening, but now there's rain through the day and less storms - though not everyday. I'm not sure what we've got planned this weekend, but you can follow us on instagram @phomadic and if we're around and you're up for a beer, sure! Let us know.

Thanh Da pennisular actually is a still old town that awaiting project for almost 25 years already so resident there almost living in old bad apartments & The city authority are choosing for the best investment to convert Thanh Da to become a Casino Complex. In a long waiting this pennisular still a old village but you still find out several good restautants with a nice natural scence there such Binh Quoi 1, 2
@girlsontheloose12 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the information Le, I wonder why they want to build a casino. I don't think this is good for most people. Thanh Da is a lovely little neighbourhood, but I can imagine some people are waiting for some new developments. Thanks for watching and commenting.
