This is Big C a Vietnamese Supermarket in Vinh Nghe An. You will find usual groceries similar to that of Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsburys etc, in addition to products native to Vietnam. The most amazing exotic fruit can be found here as well as fresh vegetables and meat. Birds nest drink a health drink is sold here, which is a common delicacy in Vietnam, linked with good health. A lot of elderly people drink this, but anyone can drink this. (This was actually the 1st edited video I had made in May 2022, but haven't uploaded it until now)

I've been there many times, my favorite section are the fruits, vegies & seafoods. All fruits are so sweet, even the sweet potatoes are really sweet.

Wow thats cool man. I live in Da Nang with my gf but her best friend is from near Vinh. I really want to visit. So impressed by your Vietnamese speaking. Your such an encouragment. So cool when other foreigners also try learning the language and culture

Thanks for watching, vietnamese in vinh is extremely difficult to understand but i like vinh nghe an, no tourists at all. My Vietnamese is shocking lol but better since this video

Oh yeah, that's an avocado. They're huge in Vietnam! I feel cheated when I overpay for tiny avocados in other parts of the world.

I think i was put off by the difference in colour compared to avocados I buy in England and the size!

They are of different species. I’ve tried them before, they are not as mushy and creamy. Great for smoothies and drinks, but not that suitable for avocado toasts.

Big C actually started in Thailand and like Tesco and others branched out across Asia

Where can we find foxtail millet, little millet, kodo millet, barnyard millet and brown top millet in Vietnam? I am diabetic and I can only eat these millets as they can keep my sugar levels in reverse condition.

Hi, if I’m being honest i wouldnt know where to find these in the Uk lol let alone Vietnam, as its something ive not ever needed to look for. Sorry i know thats not the answer youre looking for. Best is to ask a bilingual vietnamese local when you arrive/ visit vietnam.
