I worked in S4 at the 1/3 Artillery 2nd AD at Fort Hood in 1967. From there I went to LZ Bayonet to the 1st 14th Artillery 198th Light Infantry Brigade. Then I was attached to A company 1st 46th Infantry as a Forward Observer from October 1968 to May 1969. Then I was moved to B Battery 1st 14th Artillery at LZ Fat City and LZ Professional till October 1969.
