@@sruthi671 a lot of east Asian immigrants lie about their real age to stay relevant in the workforce to look more appealing to employers. During the immigration process, some countries have specific requirements that families and individuals need to meet in order to gain a larger chance to be selected for immigration. A lot of refugees that are Vietnamese landed in Malaysian refugee islands and a lot of children missed 2-3 years of core education development. Hence the adults lie about the age of the children to get a few more years in the education system, and the adults lie to look younger and more employable. It's sad because it just means that they retire later and receive pension and benefits further down.
