Thanks Kevin, for another delicious recipe. Anything with baguette is a winner.
@KumasKitchen6 жыл бұрын
This is quite true. I'm lucky. There's a bakery nearby that does a fantastic Monge baguette.

Kuma's Kitchen Yes indeed, you are lucky.

That looks amazing Kevin I was foolish to watch this while so hungry but I wanted to see how to make it.
@KumasKitchen6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, one should never watch food videos when hungry, nor go grocery shopping.
@CatalinaCNV6 жыл бұрын
You need to put a warning Kevin, this video cannot be watched with an empty stomach. Thanks for this recipe, I tried Vietnamese sandwiches just a month ago for the first time and fell in love with them.
@KumasKitchen6 жыл бұрын
LOL. True. Also, another warning, you can't think "I'll only eat half."

Hmmm. Could make the "meatballs" with mashed up black beans?

Very nice brother Kev, you could bet I'm with you on the jelepeno peppers. I might use habenro!

I'll be trying that without the peppers and siracha. I like how your leftovers are already spoken for even before you finish this meal.
@KumasKitchen6 жыл бұрын
Yes, leftovers always have a good use. My breakfasts are quite eclectic.

Gave you some likes on your comments i like how you try to say something to everyone! For starters i will try just your meatballs as you have said and eat them with salad or maybe susi und Strolch style. Have a great day! I am already looking forward to your Wednesday Treat. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 heavy love for you🐻 You can give it to your wife if you have taken it. 😉

Ohayo Kevin!! What a delicious looking bahn mi! Our local Vietnamese Pho restaurants sell fresh baguettes daily. I’m going to go grab some to make this sandwich. Kevin, if you’re ever in So. Cal., I would personally like to take you to “Huy Fong Foods,” for a tour of their factory. They are THE only factory where the original Sriracha is made. David Tran-the owner and creator of the sauce has an amazing story. You would love it! The tour is free and the bonus.......you receive a free bottle of Sriracha or Sambal at the end of the guided tour.
@KumasKitchen6 жыл бұрын
If I ever get to So Cal again, I'd happily take you up on that offer.

ikea meatballs to cheat for me ;)

LOL. That's cheating. But, if you slathered them with some Sriracha and a bit of sugar before cooking, probably be dang good.

is Kuma your name in Japanese?
@KumasKitchen6 жыл бұрын
Actually, my nickname in Japanese is sometimes Yaju 野獣野獣 which means beast. My friends call us Beauty & the Beast. Kuma means bear. I do volunteer work with the Japan Bear & Forest Society and love bears.
