Great video. I am sure some people are thinking "He could be replaced by a machine". But then how does he feed his family. There are pro's and con's to any changes. I like the handmade touch. As a US importer I would like the factory to pass some form of safety standards. But then that would involve cost and if you add more cost.... the US consumers will not pay it. It is a Dilemma as we all reading this have the best intentions, but when it comes down to the end user, your client or flipping a home it is cost, cost, cost. No one asks..."How was this made". "Was the factory ISO9001?" Nope it is price, price, price. That is why our company does all we can to ensure factory do their best to look after their family of employees, by visiting the factories unannounced. Today we sell Cement or Concrete Tiles for $10.95 a Square Foot and Free Shipping: www.thebuilderdepot.com/cement-tiles.html

Golam Mohiuddin Faruq the formula is different from factory to another factory. That’s reason why you can feel the quality of color tone and tile is vary. It is also secret of each factory, but the main components are: white cement, color pigment and sand.

it is just cement. plasters work in event all day here. no lime in it. working in lime is ok as long as your hand don't get wet. when you wash off the lime you use vinegar first to neutralize the lime then soap and water. Hod carriers have exposed for centuries. very few issues. sure is labor intensive for 1 tile.

The cement and sand part will absorb water from color layer in the rate that we can control, as the result, the binding between two layers is solid, and the color layer is last long. As long you use this tile, as tile is more shiny.

@Jammil24777 жыл бұрын
niecers No, I'm guessing you know the dangers from asbestos? That's had an effect for the last 20-30 years. The more recent one is silicosis, from brick dust etc. It'll be the next slow killer for the tradesmen globally. It'll be common in hospitals and like the effects from asbestos, it'll creep up on people who thought or who weren't warned to wear a dust mask etc. It's why all the big firms now ensure you wear PPE (signing paperwork to say you've had the brief)so they have a disclaimer against future payouts.
