For a tall person, this bridge has a strikingly low railings protecting pedestrians from a possible mishap, quite a dizzying view and experience to stand near centre span, and take in the breathtaking view below. This view looking downstream towards the next bridge, the Miradouro Ponte Luis 1 bridge, a popular tourist attraction, with constant pedestrian traffic across both of it levels. The Pont do Infante is a motorway bridge, so footpath is not busy, a dramatic viewing point. Porto is remarkably busy this month, October 2021, perhaps busier than usual due to Covid impact on summer holidays?
