Enjoying your videos. Grew up doing a lot of bass fishing, but really haven't done any in decades. Beautiful pond you were kayaking in. Nice bass! Bowfin.

Hi Rich, glad you're back on the water. Any day fishing is a good day. The beach, ramps, ponds and parks are all closed up here in South Jersey. I'm just staying home and watching KZbin. Stay safe down there, Mickey

Hi Mickey. Mercifully the beaches (fishing only), ponds and ramps are all open down here, so I have that to be thankful for. Weather hasn't been great and doesn't look to be getting any better. Wind, wind, wind, rain, wind, rain, wind lol. Be well and thanks for watching.

Hi Andrew. It's so good to be back. Weather is being a little squirrely about now but as soon as I get the op, I'm out on the bay. I'm in need of serious pullage. Looking into NC also. Got lifetime licenses for both VA and NC so I gotta get my monies worth lol. Thanks for watching.

@@richtroxler have always enjoyed your videos since I found your channel a few years back...I'd be lying if I said you didn't make me a better fisherman... I'm really happy to hear you're back to doing what you love rich! I know the double lifetime license wasn't cheap so get your money's worth. Take care and stay healthy!!

Nice mixed bag of freshwater brutes Rich!! Glad you are doing better brother!! We have a lot of bowfins around here in the creeks too, I’m waiting to catch a snakehead though. I’ve never caught one, but it wouldn’t surprise me to get one in a creek around here.👊🏼👊🏼🍀🍀🐠🐠

Hi Mullis. Very sorry for the late reply. I had a health issues again that dragged on for a while but I'm back now. Vertigo returned for a bit. Yeah, when I first saw that little bowfin, I couldn't remember the name lol. Didn't expect to see one in a little square pond in a shopping center, but you never know until you make a cast lol. Haven't got a snakehead yet either, but I imagine that's only a matter of time also. Thanks for watching AND for the sub. Be well.

@@richtroxler It’s all good Rich. Man I hope your vertigo gets better, I can’t imagine feeling like that. Funny you replied on this today because me and a friend went back to a local creek and targeted bowfins and caught some massive ones. I hope to the video footage up soon, it was a blast! Be well my friend and God bless!!🎣🎣🍀🍀

Hi John. Despite my dead pan delivery, it was really great to get out again. Want to get to the salt soon but the weather is not cooperating, wind and rain. I'm hoping the vertigo stays away, Covid-19 is held at bay, and lots of sunny days. Be well and thanks for watching.

Hey, Big hello from Houston, Texas. I'm glad you doing well and back fishing. I enjoyed those how to read the surf videos. Have you ever visited Texas?

Hi Tito and a big Hello to you too. Sorry for the late reply, these are crazy times. I have been to Houston, but it was a very long time ago for business. I made stops at Conroe, Sugarland, and a couple other places and discovered what BBQ is really supposed to taste like. Never had the time to get near the water though. Thanks for watching. Be well and stay safe.

They just canceled my room for the weekend that’s usually around prime time striped bass fishing in cape May New Jersey. I’m heart broken beyond words. This virus sucks !
@richtroxler4 жыл бұрын
Hi Stan. Man, that sucks. I usually try to get up to OC in May to fish the RTE 50 bridge and beaches and also AI, but I'm thinking that won't be happening either. Not sure what's happening in NC yet but I need to start looking soon. I was hoping this virus would burn through quick, but I don't see that happening, especially if everybody goes back to work. Definitely rock and hard place stuff. Thanks for watching.
