Yes flashing the BIOS would be interesting. There are different ways to do that. With a clip, desoldering, via keyboard connector, via "header" ? Or from the USB?

It worked, good fix. I think it would be nice to see the flashing process, as most modern boards now have flashback and easy update via USB.

You have to show the BIOS flashing process sometimes. I have recently repaired an ASUS CROSSHAIR VI EXTREME. The symptoms were the same. But the USB BIOS flashback didn't work. The BIOS flash chip appeared to be damaged. The only thing that helped was replacement. And it's not an uncommon breakdown.....

Hello your repairs are amazing. I have bought a usued b450m mortar max but the ram slot that only works is A1 and A2. B1 and B2 are not working will reseating the cpu helps? btw my cpu cooler mounting is via tension so it has very strong mounting force in the socket and it's kinda scary.

It might, but it could be for a lot of reasons like physical bending the board, because off high mounting preassure!

I was disappointed with no BIOS flash. We're going to get sick of them if they are long, because we watch all the vids, but I guess we can speed it up or skip it. I actually skibide-toilet a lot of soldering because I've seen too many - lol -.
