If you over wind the spring it will break the spring or twist the spring into a knot( my own experience with them)

Calico is back in business and I sent my OLD calico 22 in for servicing (wonderful to work with, btw). they have a design for a speed loader, but it is not practical to produce at this time. they are trying to redesign so it'll be practical and inexpensive... Calico light weapons systems dot com also, the rubber buffer in the receiver needs to be replaced about once every 10 years or so, or whenever it starts getting hard. all parts ARE available off their website. as a calico fan, I thought you'd wanna know :)

+TheStraycat74 Thanks, the speed loader sounds pretty interesting, Unfortunately Calicos were made prohibited here in the 90's so I only have a parts kit and no receiver.

I have one of the First calico. m 100 22lr . 100 Rd drum it has digit serial no . .do you know were I can get a new drum or parts to rebuild ? calico went out of business

I think they are back in business again IIRC. If not try Numrich gun parts.

Yes I do wish the gov't of canada realized their stupidity and let me purchase an Upper for that toy, unfortunately I don't see that happening in my lifetime.

Keep Positive Dude they might do one day. :D I live in the UK and we have Hard Gun Laws but if you get the right license you can almost have what you want that is to a degree. They are trying to pass a law at the moment that will allows us to have pistols again in the UK which would be Awesome. The Government were really smart when they passed the law to ban all pistols in the UK in 1968 "NOT" The best bit is since the band in 1968 the gun crime has gone up since then, they seem to think that if they ban things from good people that the bad people will not do bad things. The Gov are Idiots...! Is the Government as bad where you are in Canada as the UK do you think? P.S. I've got a LAW-M72 as well. :D and it's Awesome. I like what you have done with your LAW. :D

***** None of the gov't here are perfect, The one in power now is responsible for removing the long gun registry, and is the only "gun friendly" party here. If the other two main ones get in and they get their way we will be closer to the Australian method of gun control. Biggest problem here is that most of the population doesn't care or is ignorant in regards to firearm knowledge, so all an anti gun group has to do is show flashy pics of "black" guns and they get scared. Yeah the LAW is an interesting toy, I just wish I had the time to figure out how to shape the fuel so I can test fire the subcal system I made for it. hopefully soon.

Yeah it's pretty much the same here. The thing that makes me laugh is that people in this country are so ignorant that they even think Shotguns are illegal or any gun even a BB Gun. LMFAO I have a friend who came around to my house one day and he is a normal guy and I was shooting my .22 on my land and he came over and was shocked that I had a Rifle and said he had to go and 10 minutes later the police came round and they had me on the ground with CS Gas pointed at me then they checked out my license and who I was then said oh ok we had a report someone with a rifle and they just had to checking out despite my rifle is all legal and I live on a farm anyway I found out it was my Friend that called 5.0. LOL so I had to explain to him that you can have guns and rifles in this country and he was shocked. Some people are just ignorant and stupid I guess...! With your LAW could you make a clay cone as a stabiliser? Or use Graphite?
