The Vampire Oracle is intense and pair with the Mermaid and Myths, I felt I get deeper parts of my self that needs loving and accepting that I did this and I can improve on these qualities. I know aesthetic type people like to use those tarot decks and oracles decks as a collection to brag that they have it. I am thankful for these decks and I wish i gotten them sooner because I was like 'oh it may not be for me' oh how wrong i was but I am grateful. Thank you for this video! It acts like a confirmation for me.

Amazing video! Thank you for bringing this interesting subject up. =) I don't think there is any mass market edition of the Starchild Tarot though. Danielle still produces it independently. The only mass market ones by her are 2 oracles from HayHouse I believe (where the booklets are written by other people than Danielle). Just thought I'd mention that. I really agree with it being a great shadow deck though, the images are so dreamy it's easy to get lost in them and journal lots. =)

Hi Racine, would you add any new decks for shadow work? Specifically I'm looking for decks to work through the death of a loved one & family betrayal. I found the dark angels tarot called to me & the new book Entering Hecate Cave. I did pick up into the lonely woods as well. Tarot tube hasn't offered much in processing death of a loved one & deck recommendations. Would you do a video? Blessed be

The angelarium:oracle of emanations was one I looked at as well, but it didn't fit for the time right now. However the mausolea: oracle of souls did. I plan on using that one with the dark mirror oracle (why yes, I doeth so dwell in darkness), just because I'm not fluffy. Unless it's cats, which is why I also ordered the lo scarabeo pagan cats tarot, because cats AND because I love that it is multilingual because I'm german but as you can tell native english speaker as well, grew up with both languages from the start, BUT I'm currently living in the US so I wanted to see the words in german for the tarot, which is all still new to me. And let's be honest, who would expect me to translate temperance off the top of my head? Or hierophant? Sorry, but those don't come up in my regular convos between me and my 4 yr old or my mom (whom I speak german with). So this is just double the value for me. On top of that, the thing EVERYBODY bitches about regarding lo scarabeo multilingual decks and their respective guide "books", mostly LWBs, they all whine about the fact that of all the pages only a fraction are in english, and I get it, in a way. But to me it's really valuable because I can read the english and german section and see what got lost in translation, see if there is anything else I can pick up from it that the english section may have not conveyed in such a way. So that to me is mainly interesting but also likely valuable. Because, let's be honest, they always fuck up translations. Thanks for sharing this list, I added a few to my wish list on amazon (gonna be a LONG ASS time before I can buy anything again) but I'm just mentioning decks on a side note to my mom, like "hey" *nudge nudge* "ya know, this would be a grrrrreat xmas present for a certain daughter of yours... you know? The only one you have?" 🤣 I really liked your input with the decks. A lot of them would have been decks I would have looked past due to the artwork (especially the fluffy ones from lucy cavendish) but you gave me reason for pause and seeing them in a different light (or should I say shadow? 🙃) and seeing their potential. 🖤🖤🤘🏻

I wish i knew more about Oracle and Tarot. I own The Vampyress tarot bc of you. I haven't opened the box yet. I've had it for over 6 months. I wish i could find a video of someone doing a pretend video. Like today im going to pull a card from. .. and then show exactly step by step on how to proceed. For all the beginners. Anyway, you look very pretty.

I watch Gregory Scott who pulls three cards for daily readings. He has a beautiful way to describe the artwork, create stories around the cards, and links this back to the traditional RWS meanings. He also pulls together themes between the cards and explains how they work together. Not always, but often he concludes each reading with a numerological message from the card reading as well. I have learnt so much from watching his videos. He's the only reader I follow who gives the message while weaving in the intuitive meanings from the artwork. He's also very funny at times, and a delightful person. I highly recommend you check out his videos, Cherry. They may be exactly what you’re looking for.

Thank you 👏🏻 YES!!! So many words/actions get so overused they lose meaning. These are the same people that will say things like "I'm ocd, oh I'm soooo OCD about this" and that one pisses me off like hell. Have ocd. Real fucking OCD that destroys your life for 1 fucking day and you won't use that word so lightly anymore. Same with trigger. A trigger can be a horrific thing for someone who has gone through trauma or other things that triggers apply to (can be ocd, can be anxiety (the real kind, not the fake kind that 99% of the population claim they have), can be a psychotic episode, just rough shit) and people ABUSE these words and quite frankly I want to bitch slap them Every. Time. Thank you for saying what you did in the beginning of the video (which is where I'm still at, yeah I pause videos and type, then keep watching and have to edit my comment to add or remove things as applies. Man this had to be said. You are the only person thus far, from the many many "witchy" and oracle/tarot related videos I have watched that spoke straight from my heart right there. And you are beautiful and have such a great energy that I find so inviting. Sub 🖤🖤

Me either but I got the ceccoli deck today and by looking at the cards and comparing them to the guide book I believe that you don't always go by the guide book because the guide book don't mention these cards having anything to do with sexual child abuse or physical as I experienced in my childhood but wow looking at some of these cards took me there so I think it's how the cards make you feel and what they remind you of or where they take you when you look at them I hope I'm partly right I'm like you tho I would like Racine would go more in depth about the shadow work.

I agree. I have looked at getting into Shadow work for a number of years. I am now at a stage where I really need to face a lot of trauma as my emotions are so close to the surface that I can cry at the slightest thing. I also know that I have so much anger and I have been sabotaging opportunities for growth and healing. It is just so overwhelming that I don’t know how to start going about it, so that I am working through it in a responsible and healthy way. If anyone can otherwise recommend any literature that may assist me otherwise, I would really appreciate it. Thanks for sharing and your in depth thoughts in relation to these decks.

I love your channel. I really respect your practice and get a lot out of your videos. One of the things that is difficult for me as a reader of color is that the majority of the decks out there depict Caucasian characters/people, some might sprinkle a POC here and there but mostly I end up feeling totally excluded and can’t seem to see myself in the decks. I wish tarot designers were more inclusive and respectfully diverse.
@Senay.Lynn-10315 жыл бұрын
I agree! But, the best thing to do is to create your own deck with POC! Because, no one who makes decks are always going to have POC! I like to go to Amazon for my decks and I like to use KZbin for my windowshopping for tarot/oracle cards. And, I cannot seem to find any POC decks most of the time.

I've been having this same problem, Tanya. I haven't found a solution yet, but my instinct is to force myself to keep going back to the same decks until they open up to me. My problem is that I keep buying more and more and not spending enough time getting to know one before I buy another. 💜

I read primarily for insight and perspective. And, over the years, I've discovered that Tarot and Oracle work can give me insight into the human condition. So I often read about topics outside myself. I read about fictional characters from books, television, and movies. I read about historical figures and current events. Doing this gives me absolutely endless topics to read about. This also stimulates my creativity as a writer. It teaches me empathy as I look at people and situations through a different lens each time. It also helps you, as a reader, to see the stories in the cards as you connect the meanings to many different situations. It can be a very sacred and beautiful way to work with your decks. I journal these readings just as I would journal readings for myself. If this is something that sparks your interest, I highly recommend the practice as a way of working consistently with your decks. 💜
