I just had this conversation with a few collectors. Our consensus is the CGC census has no bearing on scarcity when it comes to raw issues.

I just got Ka-Zar The Savage #12 Recalled Error Dante Red Panel Variant with complementary copy stamped on it. Are complementary copy rare? Or would complementary copy stamp make this copy more valuable since the book is some what rare?

Could you show comic book covers with wonder woman on them, where is is not in a series she is usually in. For instance, wonder woman, JLA, Justice league, Sensation, woul dbe ineligible= i was thinking of her on covers of Batman, Green lantern, ect or books like one shots or weird series like "body doubles". Was wondering how much fantastic four #86 with doom cover and #104 with magneto in very fine might cost as I can’t get them where I live , can’t make it to fan expo this year.Was checking cba for fantastic four annual #8 and raw vf $105.00 is that a lot as there were no pictures to check.

Why do you think Crown Comics #3 is a Baker cover? I haven't found a source that says it is. There's Baker art inside, but that's not the same thing.

Really great question. Usually the listings for the comic only state Matt Baker art. I thought it referred to both cover and interior. But you are correct this might not be the case. Crown #4 is clearly identified as a Matt Baker cover, number #3 isn't. So I'm not sure if he did the cover or not. However, there are elements which suggest his style. The annoying thing about it comics at the time didn't often say who did the cover art. I found this article on it but still it isn't clear who the cover artist was for Crown #3. Who do you think did the cover?

@@ComicCollectorGeek BTW, when CGC says "art", they just mean inside art. If an artist did the cover and inside art, they will say "art and cover". You probably know this, but some may not.

@@jswap1 I do know this but at the same time I didn't clue into the fact that he might not have done the cover. I was doing a lot of research since and it really isn't clear who did the cover.

Might be a silly question but I just started collecting a couple months ago and was wondering what is the best way to store comics in a short box. I’ve noticed one or two seem to start having a type of spine damage

You may need to use magazine boxes. If your comics are gold or silver age, they may not fit the newer modern boxes. I do not believe they even make golden age boxes anymore (or silver).

Thanks for answering most of my questions. But you never answered whether or not there are any swap meets or flea markets in your area that you go to to find comics? Also my new question is if you could go to any comic convention in the world, which would you go to and why? I picked up a My Greatest Adventure 80 recently myself and I agree its really underrated and undervalued.

I would say that's a little high. Sounds like a 1.5-2.0 copy and that should be around $300.
