45K per year in rent is HUMONGOUSLY pricey! You guys are quite wealthy, eh?? Also, if you are going to wear a mask, it does pay to do so OVER YOUR NOSE as well, or it will not do any good! So many people just do not know how to wear their masks!

just o remind everyone both apartments cost more than what 90% of the people earn there. unless ur an expat, most people working in restaurants construction hotels etc earn between 2500 aed to 6000 aed a month. so Yes the apartment might look cheap for some of us living in expensive countries/ cities but lets not forget what the salaries are like there for the average citizen. thats why its only affordable for people with income outside of uae influencers business people etc. And before u come at me i know what im talking about ive seen both sides of dubai.
@ArchitectAB2 жыл бұрын
Agree completely. I am an architect with almost 7 years of experience but still the maximum salary I can get here is 5000aed...that would hardly get me any living space in these locations. Even in jvc this is a very premium apartment building. Because I know for a fact that you can get one and two bedroom apartments right here in cheaper price. What an average "lower to middle class" (and they constitute the majority population ) can afford is around 3000 aed per month or 36-40k aed per year.

The 1.5k one was obviously much better value than the 1k one, but properties in Dubai are still HUGELY overpriced relative to London or NY given it doesn't have the convenience, amenities or quality of life you would have in Ldn or NY. Plus it's really hard to make long term friends in Dubai given people only really come to work there for a few years then leave 🤷♂️
@MFG27382 жыл бұрын
@@FA9082 in London you get complimentary stabbing and mugging with the winter wind and rain. New York everyone has a gun. Dubai isn’t any more expensive then London or New York and in Dubai you have no tax and no crime. So overall it works out better and cheaper

Wow, I'm surprised by these prices. I thought everything would be super duper expensive in Dubai but it's made me realise the ridicilous rent costs here in Ireland. I pay about €1200 a month on a studio apartment that is deemed relatively cheap for Dublin. So clearly things have just got crazy over here that there's cheaper places in Dubai. It actually makes me sad how insane the situation has got over here. It's no surprise many young Irish people just get up and leave.
