Buying the OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch White Dial

During a recent trip to OMEGA's new boutique in Covent Garden, I was able to have one of the stunning new Speedmaster Moonwatch White Dials set aside as I knew a friend was coming to London in following couple of days and who was desperate to finally see one in person, maybe even buy one.
This watch captivated the attention of the watch enthusiast world when it was first spotted on the wrist of none other than Daniel Craig, during an Omega event in New York in early 2024.
So I was delighted to be able to arrange for the president of ‪@007gbclub‬ to not only have a private appointment to view the watch, but also have the option to buy if interested.
In this video, I give you a glimpse into the experience and the excellent levels of customer service that OMEGA provides to their customers.
About the watch:
The Speedmaster Moonwatch is one of the world’s most iconic timepieces. Having been a part of all six moon landings, the legendary chronograph is an impressive representation of the brand’s adventurous pioneering spirit.
Presented on a polished-brushed bracelet, this 42 mm Moonwatch in stainless steel features sapphire crystal glass on the front as well as on the caseback. Inspired by the 4th generation Speedmaster style worn on the moon, it also includes an asymmetrical case, a white lacquered step dial with applied OMEGA logo and indexes, Moonwatch style hands, and the famous dot over 90 on the black anodised aluminium bezel ring.
The watch is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, which powers the small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder, along with the central chronograph function.

Tried it on Saturday in Brussels. I may buy it in a few years. Already have 2 1960s Speedies, and I'm chasing pieces that are way rarer and where the opportunity may slip away. This white one is not rare, the opportunity will exist later. Very nice though.

I tried the white dial moon watch in the Sydney flagship store, I thought the black one was much nicer, cheaper and available immediately for purchase. There’s an 18 months waiting currently on the white dial in Sydney. Anyone looking to get the dial white sooner, one thing my sa did suggested to place an order on the white dial, but with a nato strap which would be available in a couple of months, then later on purchase a separate ss bracelet. You would get your watch sooner, but a bit more expensive.
