Really informative video, thanks. I'm not interested in creating vlogs but I am interested in using a camera like this to record interesting rides and the scenery, but I can't find anything on KZbin that covers that objective - everyone seems to want to record themselves ;) Would the Insta360 One X2 be good for this i.e. capturing scenery all around? GoPro and other single direction cameras are either forward, rear or rider facing only and they tend to flatten steep hills etc. so you lose the perspective.
@mancavemoto3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, yes the beauty of the camera is that it’s filming in 360 degrees all the time. You just select what you want to focus on when it come to the edit

Great Video:) But one question I always have is if the vibration of the motorcycle does damage the camera in the long run? There is a Vibration damper that can be bought but I have never seen anyone use it 🤔 so I wonder if it really is not neccessary?
@mancavemoto2 жыл бұрын
No as far as I know there are no issues, the camera doesn’t have ‘mechanical’ anti vibration’ like an iPhone does. These are as robust as any other action cam
This is an awesome video! Thanks mate. 360 video looks quite easy to do after seeing that. The insta software looks great as well. One question - how are you recording the sound of the bike? I assume its not coming from the insta360 as its positioning would give serious wind noise? Is it possible to record the bike sound using the insta? External mic perhaps?
@mancavemoto2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, the bike sound is coming from the mic in my helmet thats recording my voice. The sound is pretty decent from the INSTA360 at slow speeds, but yep wind noise is a real problem on the bike.

Hi quick question I have a dji osmo action and when I record videos it will give me mutiple files like if I recorded a 20 Min video I think I end up with 4 or so files it splits the file after a certain amount of recording cant remember if it's 5min or 10 min then it splits the files. With the insta 360 does it do that as well or no matter how long u record it will be all as 1 file ? Hope u can answer I think im going to get a insta 360 x3
@mancavemoto2 жыл бұрын
I’ll check but I’m pretty sure it records it as all one file. Well for the length I’ve recorded clips for. You need to consider that it’s recording two videos at 5.3k so the files can get pretty big!
@Grimreapervlogs2 жыл бұрын
@@mancavemoto when ever u get a chance to check that would be great. That's one annoying thing about my osmo action recording longer videos I always up with with mutiple clips I need then add together would rather it be 1 larger file with the hole video as 1 file. I don't mind if insta 360 gives 2 clips 1 lower quality and 1 larger size thats full quality
