people forget 800 by 480 is DVD quality, I remember when DVD's first came out and we thought the picture was amazing. I have been through 20 small projectors and a few bigger ones. For instance, I just bought an Asus F1 which also has Harmon Kardon speakers. It has the same 3-watt speakers plus an 8-watt subwoofer built-in, but the sound is miles behind this ViewSonic. The full-size Asus at the max volume is what the Viewsonic does at HALF volume! I am surprised because they both have Harmon Kardon 3 watt stereo, but the Asus having the 8-watt subwoofer should make it louder, it doesn't. The Viewsonic can be too loud.

Got super excited about this model, bought it, and crushed that it won’t play iTunes movies from an iPad. Why is no one mentioning this obvious point? Or am i missing something here? I would loved to be proved wrong but I just can’t figure it our nor find anyone who can. Help?

Good projector . Blacks are very dark though . Image is not bad, but needs to be a tad brighter. Hardly any fab noise on this though. Good overall and better than any other portable I have used.

@@Jhade7 my google chromecast is one of the earlier generations. You need a wifi network to connect to when traveling which is a limitation of the chromecast. I haven't tried a USB stick.

Doesn't produce enough Lumans for day light. For basic data presentation it might be sufficient with lights off, but you'll be limited to picture size of 50-60"

Amazing. I saw this Viewsonic M1 in a shop nearby and I was totally disappointed from the image quality. I didn't see a movie though, but it was showing tekst on a ceiling. It looked so pixelated that I decided not to buy this one.

The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.

That's not an apple's to apple's comprasion the apeman m6 is a native 720p and will be a little sharper, but this is a hundred pounds cheaper and has better contrast ratio, speakers, and internal battery run time was over 3.5 hours.
