This monitor is now valid to use with g-sync, so doesn’t matter if you have a AMD or Nvidia GPU’s :)

@The Golden fox yeah, NVIDIA are still rolling out different monitors to be compatible with g-sync and this monitor has already been supported. I’ve got a different monitor with gsync and it’s just pure amazing haha

We’re you using hdmi or the display port while playing you games because I’m curious if it will be able to run 144hz through hdmi

I was using Display Port cable. With HDMI, I was having flickering on screen.

There's an option in windows Display settings, which shows the screen refresh rate.. if your cable and GPU support that refresh rate, 144Hz is enabled by default, otherwise caped to 60

In my opinion, I would say you go with one which suits your budget. Both are almost similar in performance... If I've to select, I'll choose ViewSonic XG2401 for competitive gaming

Because of custom profiles you can set on your monitor... And it has AMD freesync Which I don't think benq xl2411p has. plus it's a bit attractive, red and black seems nice.

I usually keep freesync on and let the system decide. Never tested between those two options 😅

Id save some money and get a 60hz monitor. At the moment all consoles are capped at 60FPS and the extra 84hz won’t help. You can find a nice 60hz IPS Display for way cheaper.

Pusha 513 Xbox one x is capped at 60 hz So a 144 hz would be a waste of money But it will work with your Xbox you’ll just have to play on 60 You can get a really nice 60 hz monitors like 4K 60hz I’m pretty sure the Xbox one x can play games at 4K

Wa Alikum Assalam! It's okay. No this LCD monitor doesn't have HDR support! It has AMD freesync which is another technology but it does not have HDR...

Right click on your desktop, go to Nvidia control Panel, from there, on the left side panel, you will see SET UP GSYNC, enable it from there and you are good to go

you might be asking if ray tracing will work on this? Answer: Yes, it will, because it is a 144hz G sync compatible monitor, and RTX cards support GSync, like any other relatively modern Nvidia GPUs.

@@static4324 In my opinion, Both monitors perform almost the same, but you should go with the newer XG2402 because of new design. I would say you won't notice any difference with 1060 on both monitors, so if looks aren't a concern for you, buy whichever is cheaper or available
