First of all, everything thats made from plants or trees can burn if it doesn't have too much water in it. So if u dehydrate any vegetable or fruit, it can burn so does the grains.

People often call burning of kurkure as plastic but its the cellulose part which burns like plastic. The carbon part goes through many chain reactions since hydrocarbons are excellent fuels it burns leaving no residue behind. I wanna say that kurkure is SAFE.
