Frogner is absolutely the best! Every grouping of sculptures elicits such emotion. The nudity keeps you focused on the expression rather than any detail of clothing. Simply genious.

Thank you for this tour of the park. When we were th ere last February, it was even colder and ice covered! But still lovely. I liked the granite statues around the fountain the best, especially the mother embracing her little children, and the old men behind your favorite old women. Thanks again for taking us on this tour which brought back wonderful memories. Someday you have to come to Michigan and visit Grand Rapids where we have an amazing botanical garden/sculpture park created by Frederik Meijer and his wife, Lena, known locally as Meijer Gardens. You would love it!

I was there in May 1974 as a 17 year old student during a month long school trip through Scandinavia. Unfortunately, I was not sophisticated enough to fully appreciate it. However, I remember some of the pieces you showed us and knew enough that they did touch my heart with warmth. On my bucket list to return and savour the beauty more fully. Thank you for sharing this treasure.

What a wonderful park. I found the statues quite moving especially the two ladies at the end. We have recently lost a family member at the age of 94 what a life she led. Not travelling much until in her 70s. The statues by the waterfall were lovely. The trees reminded me of art nouveau patterns. Art Nouveau and Art deco are my favourite architecture and designs.

VERY cool place. Even the main gate is gorgeous. Great tip. I love all the movement created in so many of the sculptures and how they nearly "float" from their bases/platforms. You get a sense of family, lightheartedness and joy from a lot of the sculptures as well. It did look quite chilly.

I was at this park in 1971, and it was a beautiful. The figures were amazing! The people in Norway were wonderful and friendly. Where ever we were people would stop us and asked where we were were from, and talk to us. My father was fluent in Swedish, and really enjoyed visiting. We were there in July, and went to Midsommar in Oslo, Norway too. We have family in Sweden and Norway, and they kept us busy!! My brother and I enjoy your channel! We love yarn too!
