Thank you Viggo for being part of something that has had such a profound influence on my own, and countless others, lives. I love Middle Earth. I also love every role Viggo does. Such a humble and talented actor. One of the best imo. And thank you Henry for making him do it!

Just found this, it hit home. I lost my mother this April. I had a conversation with her a few weeks before the end about an event she thought was on, the kind she used to routinely run. We played along, because this was what she did best. I didn't cry but it was a close thing. Viggo is right, these memories are like wounds; they hurt, but we don't want to lose them.

The way both Henry and Viggo spoke about dementia and being understanding and present was so moving. My great grandma had dementia and would say these really absurd, somewhat racist things, but instead of shunning her, we’d just laugh and carry on with the conversation.

Great job you three--thank you for a wonderful interview. That was so sweet of Viggo to stay up so late for us (it was past 3 am in his time zone when the stream ended). 🥰

From one who gave up a career that gave me no satisfaction to taking care of mom in her latter years that was so rewarding your movie--this interview--spoke the truth in so many ways. They all said dementia, I didn't see it. I explored the mental diversions and enjoyed the conversation. Do you blame them? We are horrible at caring for the aging. "I can't hear, I can't see and I can't get up and walk out of here," said mom. "Well we better enjoy the moment, then," I said.

Great point about social media. We had to talk to our mother about reposting things without reading whole article just reading headline. She was posting some very non-inclusive things that I knew she didn't think but she didn't understand the articles were set to mislead people

Thank you for sharing the reminder and wisdom of remaining present and open rather than imposing my own ideas of what I consider "right" in order for me to feel more comfortable or "my idea" of what would make the other person more comfortable. Presence, open-ness and listening with my Heart. Thank you Viggo

It's so important, no matter how difficult it is, it's so important to take care of your parents as they reach that point, where they need help. It's not easy (for them either), and will stretch you in painful ways, but ultimately, it so important to do the right thing for the people who gave life to, and raised you. You will regret it your entire life if you don't.

It’s awesome to see Viggo on the show. To be honest I never thought he would come on and I was happily surprised to see him on TORN. I would like to comment however, in the spirit of understanding others viewpoints (which I think is what the movie Falling is partly about), that people who support Donald Trump and the administration itself are not anti-immigrant and don’t hate others who look different than they are. Maybe the far-right extremists do, but I don’t consider myself and most people who voted for Trump to be far-right. Most of us are proponents of legal immigrants coming to this country and a shared belief of ideals such as family, hard work paying off, respect for other’s faiths, individual liberty with small government oversight, peaceful and lawful assembly, and yes, a strong love of country. I believe that an American can be white, black, gay, straight, Christian, Muslim, atheist, liberal, conservative, born here, not born here, etc. However I do think that being an American means we should ascribe to common ideals so that our country and it’s citizens can better get along and prosper, so in that respect I suppose you can say I’m a nationalist. I’m writing this because I think Viggo (along with half of the country) has an ill-informed idea of who Trump supporters are and hopefully anyone who disagrees with my political stance can read what I wrote and find some examples in which we’re similar. Also if anyone doesn’t like what I’ve written I’m willing to have a discussion about it, so long as they keep it respectful as I’ve tried to do here.

I don't think he was saying that. What I took from it was him saying there needs to be more understanding for those that hold different views. And Henry backed this up by saying people are pushed into categories or labelled far too easily by crazy liberals ha. I think the point is that extremism is bad on both sides and acceptance and understanding without judgement are important. Anyone that does label someone as racist etc, purely based on the fact they are a trump supporter, are very ill informed.

@@MrSRA13 Now that you mention it I did notice Henry and Viggo start to talk about that toward the end of the show.
