thanks. finally, after all these years, I got it. if anyone is having trouble with it, make sure to hold down the handbrake. without it, I kept getting pushed around or knocked off the bridge.

that is impossible to know because there is no logic, I tried the exact same as you and my vehicle went flying when hitted by the truck, also the truck glitches in the bridge most of the time and it won't go over the bridge, it is insane how many glitches this games has
