Real quick-I misspoke on on the dates. While the GCA did amend the NFA it was passed in 1968. The IRS Code in the FOPA (Hughes Amendment) was 1986. Regardless- outdated ridiculousness that we shouldnt have. I have edited this error out for clarity for anyone using it for reference material. Sorry, I blame the puppy

both the 60s and 80s are unrecognizable from today, and firearms are still needed by individual citizens without approval of any government agency to their ownership. How many of the recent government excuses to seize arms have they actually pointed to their ability to prevent the situation? If the citizens being attacked are armed, it almost always solves the problem quickly.

Fun fact the NFA tax stamp has been $200.00 since its introduction in 1939. But $200. In 1939 is equivalent to roughly $4,500.00 today in 2025

Rep Burlison held a Spaces chat on X this weekend, and he explained part of the reason for the bills despite the low chances is that it moves the conversation goalposts. Maybe we can get some people to meet in the middle for now, and ease up on the restrictions. Also, it builds a record for the congressmen, so we can see who to and who not to primary in the future, not to mention tip the scales. Finally, disbanding the ATF also sends a signal to all the other agencies that they are not immune from congressional oversight, and they too will be disbanded if they (continue to) overreach like the ATF has.

This could technically pass in the senate with only 51 votes under budget reconciliation because it is and always has been a tax law with criminal penalties attached and NOT a firearms law per se. Still won't even make it out of committee.

PUPPY TIP,,,,, Ya must get up in the morning BEFORE the puppy, then you and puppy go outside to pee,,(if possible) make sure the puppy sees that you are peeing and it will do the same. It may only take a couple days and it will learn not to mess in its home territory. This has worked for me and others I've recommended it to. 👍 the key is to not let the puppy get up before you because it just like us need to pee as soon as we wake up. Also anytime within 15 minutes after play time it will want to pee so after play it should go outside to pee

Well I own a legal Mossberg Shockwave Shot Gun with a 14" barrel. I didn't go through the NFA either. The wording is what change it from the NFA because it is called other rather that pistol or shot gun. The NFA needs to be done away with along with the ATF! ! !

How many times in the last 10 years have I seen a video just like this. I used to get all jazzed and hopeful. I lost all hope in that anything will actually happen. My state makes sport of making gun laws and because of this we have the worst gun laws in the US. I dare you to look into CT and just try to follow and build a compliant firearm based on our now 3 AWB's. I wish content creators shed light on our state and use it as an example of how our state government has no intention of making these laws to make us safe, rather they are implemented to make it so complicated that it discourages new generations of gun owners from even attempting to get into the hobby/sport. I'm afraid the next terrible incident that happens, our governor will pass confiscation laws. I think if enough light is shed on how terrible it is here, maybe just maybe our cases pending may actually make it to cert. I know many people who just gave up and fled to greener pastures. If you're thinking about coming to New England, NH and Maine are really the only states left. RI, CT, MA, VT all have some form of capacity and AWB. I'm not including NY because thats not New England.

@@FranimusI’m not sure if any manufacturers will be willing to sell full autos willy nilly. PLCAA or not , the first time a full auto is used in any kind of crime, especially a mass shooting, the lawsuit printers will kick into high gear. Depending on the party in power , I could also see the government threatening sanctions (like loss of contracts) against manufacturers who sell to the public. At least those with the tools and know how will be able to roll their own without looking over their shoulders.
