@@FreyaEmmanuel i think that's great! But nowhere are we told we must receive the gift of tongues, nor are we commanded to speak in tongues. We are only told He gives us different gifts as He chooses. We must be grateful for what He gives, and ask if we desire tongues.

i’m 15 and i’ve been a believer since I was 7. But I’ve only started actually caring a lot about god and the bible this year(…before I just believed without doing anything about it , and there were times I felt guilty for no apparent reason but now I know it was a reminder that I should go back to god lol) I’m sort of beginning my path with God and I hope one day I will be able to feel his presence and discover my gifts. Hi Ola, I remember when I felt like this - I heard people talking about loving Jesus but didn't yet love Jesus myself. This really disturbed me for a long while! But I prayed something like, "Lord, give me love for You". And He heard - in Jan 2013 I was listening to worship music online at night and He made me see that He was the Source of all goodness and beauty I saw in everything else, and finally I felt I could say, "I love Jesus" from the heart, though in a very weak way. He has then been growing this since then. But what I would say is, ask the Lord for love for Him (this is definitely His will so you can know He wants to answer), and then spend time with Him in prayer and worship (however this looks for you - for me music is a big part), for it's often during those times that He answers our prayers - though He could answer anytime! He has put that desire in you to love Him more... be encouraged, as that's a beautiful sign that He is going to put that love there that you so desire. He creates our desires for Him too as well as meeting them! For me, Love for Jesus is an infinitely precious, exciting, beautiful gift and I cannot emphasise enough how overwhelmed I am with gratitude for hearing my prayer when I had no love whatsoever in myself! Hope that helps - this is one of the greatest things God has ever answered me in prayer for and has changed my life forever!

I can't say NO he already change my Life I heard the gospel too. I didn't even know that he is working in my heart.i didn't even ask the Lord but I have the conviction I realised how I am a sinner. Something that helps me fast for a week is prepping myself either 1-3 weeks before the actual fasting week. So I would fast the whole day on Monday, eat on Tuesday(minimally), fast on Wednesday, eat on Thursday (minimally), fast on friday and Saturday, eat on Sunday and start the whole week over again. It's just building your spirit up and decreasing your amount of temptations through practice. We cant expect to just fast for the whole week without practicing but make sure you do it at a pace that challenges you. May God bless you and fills your life with joy and peace! 😁

I was dreaming and as I was waking up , the two verses "He uses the foolish things to confound the wise," and "My grace is sufficient for you" were on my tongue, but I still don't understand why I should boast about my weakness. I thought we were supposed to try the hardest for God and love Him with all our strength.
