One great thing about this episode & the later episode where Casey helps them rescue Chuck's dad is how much they have grown to trust each other. Sarah actually feels betrayed that Casey wasn't fighting for Chuck's freedom & Casey is concerned for Chuck's safety.

Its now 2021 soon to be 2022 and I miss this show so much I just finished watching every season of chuck once again I can't stop watching it chuck is my favorite TV series I was only 8 years old when this show ended now I'm 17 almost 18 I wish there were more story to Sarah and chuck I really want another season or a couple movies made and I really want Sarah to get her memories back and I want to see Sarah and chuck buy there dream home together and have a family

After rerun CHUCK (for countless time) this scene is so heart breaking cause we all know Sarah will never ever leave chuck in whatever condition. Against CIA, Against Government and then we all know what happen in season5. CHUCK + SARAH SHOULD BE GET HAPPY ENDING FINALE

@@mjrd1978 Eh it'd say it is no matter what. Fedak and the writers confirmed Sarah's feelings are still the same. Though I would argue that's obvious from the kiss request.

​@@TheAwesome45 It's obvious even by the fact that she doesn't just blindly follow what Quinn tells her, either. She's clearly conflicted the whole time. And it's why he tries to kill her when he does, he knows he's lost control over her.

​@@TheAwesome45 She might love him regardless, but they erased years of character development, and we only get a few glimpses of her old memories, leaving us with a big "maybe" of her remembering. That and the fact that everyone goes their separate ways makes the bittersweet ending more bitter than sweet.

I really love this scene... how Sarah betrays her orders in order to save Chuck. I think almost not agents would ever do this, and of course, unlike in the show, they probably wouldn't escape and certainly not gain clemency or excused.

If you think about it, the general was just trying to keep Chuck safe. Like Casey said, safest place for him was underground. They were just playing a safe card. The only thing that really ticks me off about this scene is how they wanted Sarah to betray chucks trust.

Did you forget that she also ordered Casey to kill Chuck when they thought that he was no longer needed? They're sending him underground because they can't afford to lose the intersect, not because she gave a rat's ass about Chuck's life.

What I noticed after like my sixth viewing (LOL) was that Sarah seemed like she was going to go through with it, until Chuck thanked Sarah and mentioned he was starting to lose trust in her. Once he said that, it made Sarah feel bad. I choose to think that once Casey tranked Chuck, that Sarah would suddenly realise the wrong she did then would pull out her Gun on Casey, just like she nearly did on that Agent at the end of S1

Actually I feel that Casey's argument convinces Sarah that Chuck is safer underground. But when Chuck confesses to Sarah, she realizes that she doesn't want to betray Chuck's trust in her & decides to go rogue.
