What is the purpose of these routes? To solve traffic problems in the city. Looks like the routes are selected by people sitting in Delhi with out any basic knowledge of Vijayawada. Why the area from Durga Temple to Gollapudi ignored where 25% of Vijayawada live? I would have loved Route 1 to ply between Gollapudi to Penamaluru. At a later stage the route could have been extended from Gollapudi to Kondapalli and Penamaluru to Kankipadu. What is the use of Amaravathi Metro when there is no one living there? At the moment, 90% of people south of Krishna river live in a belt between Mangalagiri to Prakasam Barriage. The Route 2 should have been between Old Bus stand to Mangalagiri. At a later stage, a route 3 would connect Kondapalli to Mangalagiri connecting all traffic congested routes in Amaravathi.

There is lot of commuters traffic density in Hyderabad phase2 metro routes. There is no clearance given till today on PPP financial mode. Is it possible that this project what we are hearing now will ground with government funding. First let the funds to be decided how the project will be taken up.
