Tip : if you want it to be more soft, let them soak about 3-5 days. And you can grind them using a hammer (it's pretty easy actually). My mom won't give me the blender either. But they came out well more thinner than a tissue paper. And you can make a frame using a cross stitch cloth or a small mesh like cloth and ice cream sticks.

Beet juice is a natural coloring. Red onion skins boiled makes nice purple. Brown onion skins boiled make a pale yellow and spinach juice nice green. Markets throw away onion skins from the bin. They used to save them for me. A little extra time but good results!🙂

All good tips. Thanks! In another video the person used ice cream sprinkles, coffee grounds, smashed Christmas tree ornament balls for sparkles, and all sorts of weird food items like m&ms and tacos! 😝 I wouldn’t go that far, but I think the point was to think outside the box. I would definitely try coffee grounds or tea, or even sprinkles. Oh yeah, also cut thread into bits, and things from nature, like dried grass and flowers.
